I have to say that I have no idea what the long-term outcome will be, but from what I've experienced for the last 5 hours, the only issue is that you will have pop up boxes within apps so that you can set your preferences (which are wiped, I guess).Īgain, this is primarily Rehan's suggestion and I'm only making adjustments for my phone. In case someone lands on this page with a similar configuration to mine, I'm going to retype the original guidelines making changes that are relevant to my phone/software. I have an LG-D415 with Android 5.0.2 installed. Your suggestion worked for me.with a few tweaks.
